Housewarming Party

We finally our long overdue housewarming party last weekend - 19 June. Simon and I decided on getting a catering company to do the job as we were expecting about 30 or so guests. It turned out we did the right thing as we did not get too stressed out with the preparation and all. I think it is safe to say that everyone was quite happy with the selection of food and were all impressed at how well organized and profossional the catering company was (Simon and I also were impressed and even 2 days after we still talk about how great the party turned out). They even came prepared with mosquito coils to drive mosquitoes away! The weather also cooperated for the night and had the party in the garden - we had a very nice evening inspite of the wet weather earlier in the day.

And of course, everyone liked our new home, too. We did limit guests from going to the second floor though. There were Simon's ex-colleagues as well as a few of our friends outside of Philips. Quite an interesting mix of guests.

The whole evening turned out quite nicely!
