My Life Now

A couple weeks ago, I outdid myself and finished a little book within a couple days! This was inspired by Molly Irwin's version (sorry Molly if mine is a bit of a replica to yours but I just liked your style and it was the easiest way to go about it) and link from Stacy Julian's blog. I thought it would be a perfect gift to myself as I turn the big 4-0. There's actually more stuff I had forgotten... Maybe I'll add it as notes on a separate page.


All are digital pages from various sources. The panel with the photos were printed on a linen cotton sheet (maybe this is also called a bookcloth) which I found while the other side was printed on a thick card stock in order to give the pages printed on linen some stiff support.

Sensible Advise

Parenting nowadays are so different to what it used be when I was growing up...

Since my kids were born, I've almost given up on buying parenting books mostly because majority of them just seem to be either difficult to follow or that author's tone of voice makes me feel like I'm an incompetent mother... Of course with the exception of Miriam Stoppard and Elizabeth Lyon's 'Ready or Not Here We Come!: The Real Experts' Guide to the First Year' and 'Ready or Not . . . There We Go!: The REAL Experts' Guide to the Toddler Years with Twins.'

While reading Parents magazine one time I saw this article about a book called 'Just Tell Me What To Say' and managed to order it from Amazon. Read it and I highly recommend! The first book also that I managed to finish since ages ago.
